Benjamin Hornigold was a pirate and co-founder of the Pirate Republic-turned-pirate hunter and member of the Caribbean Templars. His betrayal made him an enemy of the Assassin and his fellow former pirate Edward Kenway. He is loosely based on the historical Benjamin Hornigold.
