Krolia Thompson (born in the Galra Empire on November, the 9th 1968) is an elite undercover operative of the Blade of Marmora, the wife of Officer Derrick Thompson, and the mother of Keith, Jake, Kyle, and Stephanie. She is the original bridge between Earth and the intergalactic conflict, being the reason why her children inherited hybrid traits and the fighting spirit. Physical Appearance Krolia has the appearance of a tall, lean, athletic and commanding Galra woman with light purple skin. Her hair is two-toned and changes color right at the tips of her pointed ears: most of it is dark blue, with uneven-cut bangs that tend to sweep to the left side of her face; she has lighter mauve underneath the darker strands that culminate in a thin, long ponytail at the back of her head with no apparent object tying it. She has a single darker violet marking running down both sides of her face from her cheeks to the back of her neck. Unlike most Galrans, Krolia does not have yellow eyes with no visual iris and pupil. Instead, she has purple irises with white pupils and yellow sclerae. Like other Galrans, Krolia has prominent fangs and claws. Krolia wears black armor accented with red and light gray over a dark gray spacesuit. On its cuirass, the armor has a glowing violet design. In the past as a scout, Krolia wore an alternate set of black, red, and light gray armor over a gray spacesuit with a different glowing violet design on the cuirass. When on Earth, she prefers tactical clothing, dark leather jackets, and sturdy boots, always keeping her luxit knife (Marmora Blade) at her belt. Personality Krolia is stoic, sacrificial and has a strong moral compass. She is a woman of few words, preferring to act rather than speak, but is not as emotionally distant as other Blade of Marmora members. Although she was forced to leave her family when the children were young to protect them from the Galra Empire, her love for them is immense, even if she expresses it through physical protection.This emotional side of her nearly jeopardizes her missions, but Krolia's quick wit and planning have yet to betray her. She is noticeably disturbed when she learns her brother-in-law has died and refuses to leave her husband and kids a second time. She is very perceptive and analytical. Overall, she has a calm personality when not in the throes of battle. Even when angered by injustice, unlike her sons who get impulsive and stubborn when angry, she is more stern and calculated rather than aggressive and acts as a steady guide for her sons, along side her husband. She sees the battlefield as a chessboard. Krolia lacks the cruelty of the Galra Empire and instead seeks to topple the imperial regime and free the universe. She carries deep guilt for the years she lost away from Derrick and the children. Reuniting with them is her moment of maximum vulnerability, where her secret agent "walls" begin to crumble. Krolia has enormous respect for Sally. She sees her own reflection from her youth in her: a lonely fighter in need of a family. She already sees her as a daughter-in-law capable of keeping Jake on the right path. Abilities and Equipment Abilities Master Martial Artist: Krolia's specialty lies in aggressive close combat with martial arts and bladed sidearms, but she relies heavily on her laser gun. She has extremely quick reflexes and superior strength, easily tossing other Galra and knocking them out with a few blows. Her fighting style is a lethal blend of alien techniques and street fighting learned from Derrick. High Level Intelligence: Krolia heavily applies her intellect in battle to deceive and outwit her enemies. Piloting: Krolia has highly trained piloting skills thanks to her status as a Marmora operative infiltrating the Galra Empire, particularly its scout teams. She is the only one who can beat Keith in a spaceship race, having augmented reflexes. Infiltration and Espionage: Can penetrate any enemy base (including Osborn's) without leaving a trace. Galran Heritage: Allows Krolia to interface with Galran technology so she can open locked doors in Galra structures and activate Galra computer consoles. Equipment Marmora Blade: A small double-edged knife made of luxite that can manifest into a larger, single-edge blade when activated by Krolia's Galran heritage. Galra Gun: A small pistol that shoots beams of energy. Galra Armor: Armor that allows for safe travel in space; it contains a highly advanced computer system, communication system, breathable air, and leg thrusters for brief sustained flight. Trivia She's the one who wanted to name the boys Yurak, Throk, and Razer, names of Galra warriors, but Derrick "sweetened" the situation with Earth names. She loves the quiet of nature on Earth, a huge contrast to the noise of war in space. She has a weakness for strong coffee, an "addiction" she picked up from Derrick during their brief period of quiet together.
