First appeared in Exiles #1 in 1993 and was created by Steve Gerber and Paul Pelletier. Amber Hunt was an Ultra who was infected with the Theta Virus and saved by Doctor Rachel Deming of the Exiles, who had a cure that triggered her Ultra powers.
