The kanis is one of the oldest species on Subeta, and serves a multitude of purposes in both Subeta's ecosystem as well as their economy. Being a sturdy animal - and a prolific breeder - the kanis is found in nearly every corner of the globe, from the coldest altitudes of the Arctic Frost to the desolate sands of the Sacred Lands. They can adapt and survive to a multitude of situations, which has made them quite cherished as companions, but also quite abhorred as pests!
