Finn Blake (formerly known as "Finney") is a teenage boy who lives in Colorado in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was a nervous and ostracized kid who loved space and found protection under his best friend, Robin, before Robin was kidnapped and murdered by the Grabber. Finn would later be kidnapped by the same man, but the ghosts of his previous victims were able to communicate with him through a disconnected telephone and help him kill the Grabber and escape. After his escape, Finn would become jaded and angry, and take up Robin's position as the toughest kid in school. He would also numb his feelings by smoking marijuana and ignoring ghost phone calls. His sister's visions would take them up to a winter camp, where the Grabber's ghost resided, drawing power from the ghosts of his first victims. The Grabber would target Gwen in hopes of hurting Finn, but Finn and the other counselors would defeat him by finding his victims' bodies and sending him back to hell.
