The secondary antagonist of the 90's arcade first-person shooter game CarnEvil. Umlaut is a sentient jester skull who spouts poems related to each area of the carnival. At the end, Umlaut is summoned by the carnival's owner, Ludwig von Tökkentäkker, to attack the player.
