"Quentin's Theme", also called "Shadows of the Night", is a song from the soundtrack of the soap opera Dark Shadows. The song was originally untitled and written by Bob Cobert and Charles Grean for Dan Curtis's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, then reused and named for Dark Shadows. It earned Cobert a Grammy nomination for Best Instrumental Theme. A recording of "Quentin's Theme" by the Charles Randolph Grean Sounde was released as a single and peaked at no. 13 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart (and no. 3 on its Easy Listening chart). It has been covered several times by artists such as Any Williams and Henry Mancini. A version with narration from David Selby was also released on the show's soundtrack.
