Carolyn Stoddard is a character from the American gothic soap opera Dark Shadows (1966-1971). The daughter of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard and her husband Paul Stoddard, Carolyn was born and raised in Collinsport, residing in the great house of Collinwood. After her father disappeared when she was a small child, her mother refused to leave Collinwood, and Carolyn had a rather lonely childhood.
