Diana Goodman is a lead character in the musical Next To Normal. She is the husband of Dan Goodman and the mother of Gabe and Natalie Goodman. She has bipolar disorder with some symptoms of psychosis as well, which provides a major source of tension in her family. Notably, she feels as though her emotions are absent after being placed on medication.
