Mei Kusakabe (草壁 メイ, Kusakabe Mei) is the four-year-old protagonist little sister of Satsuki in My Neighbor Totoro and daughter of Tatsuo Kusakabe and Yasuko Kusakabe. She is incredibly lively and active as well as rather curious.
