Tuvix, a character in Star Trek Voyager, is a unique individual formed by the merging of Tuvok, a Vulcan male serving in Starfleet, and Neelix, due to a transporter error in 2372. Tuvix embodied aspects of both Tuvok's and Neelix's personalities and expressed a desire to remain as a singular entity.
