Bartholomew was the first JC designed by Adwin and Raina 500 years before the birth of Princess Issa. The JCs would eventually number in the thousands based on Bartholomew's design. He was portrayed by Peter Serafinowicz in The Seneschal, which is a narrative podcast all about his origins.
