Mateo is a character in the browser sim game Lioden. He is a jaguar who finds himself stranded in Africa and asks the player character for help in finding his friends.
Obviously, don't nominate any human characters. Hybrids like Cheetah or The Lizard are okay, as are shapeshifters with one set animal form (eg Professor McGonagall.)
