Kerchak is a major character in Disney's 1999 animated feature film, Tarzan. He was the leader of the gorillas, the mate of Kala and the adopted father of the film's title character.
Obviously, don't nominate any human characters. Hybrids like Cheetah or The Lizard are okay, as are shapeshifters with one set animal form (eg Professor McGonagall.)
