Naoka Ueno (植野 直花, Ueno Naoka) is the main antagonist of A Silent Voice. She was Shōya Ishida's classmate and friend back in elementary school until she denied any part in helping him bully Shōko Nishimiya. When she meets Shōya and Shōko again in high school, old feelings of infatuation and resentment begin to resurface.
