Fate/strange Fake takes place in the American city of Snowfield. After mages fail to perfectly replicate the Fuyuki Holy Grail War, an imperfect, overlapping pair of wars begins: the initial "Fake" war and the subsequent "True" war. Thirteen Masters and Servants clash in an escalating conflict combining ancient myth, political conspiracy, and modern magecraft.
