It has been three years since Mole Man's attack on New York City. The Fantastic Four have established themselves as NYC's defenders. They will be pushed to their limits, however, when a group of criminals arms themselves with very advanced weapons and calls themselves "The Frightful Four". The Fantastic Four will have to track down the stream of advanced weapons to its source and ultimately stop a terrorist attack on NYC.
