Gareth James Edwards (born 13 July 1975) is a British film director and screenwriter. He gained recognition for Monsters (2010), an independent film in which he served as writer, director, cinematographer, and visual effects artist. He subsequently directed the big-budget adventure film Godzilla (2014) and the science fiction films Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), The Creator (2023), and Jurassic World Rebirth (2025). a team of four more closely a family apart of s.w.o.r.d gets sent to a disruption in space. The team and their ship get in a battle with kree ship the kree chase them deeper and deeper from earth a wave of energy consumes their ship and the kree do not follow they pass out. we come back to earth we see nick fury head of shield and abigail brand director of sword talking to wendell vaughn a former agent of shield member who found quatntum bands from a kree ship crash landing they talk and they send him to save the fantastic four in space.the f4 wake up on earth in a lab. the lab is a secret goverment base called pegasus fury created it because alien technology that gives such power has been coming out of the wood work. reed does research in this lab gifted by stark industries. and he finds out this place called the negative zone may have given him and his family their powers. he found out a away to travel back and fourth.they travel to the portal and are in the middle betweenan intergalactic war between blastaar and annihilus. they end up getting captured and say they will help blastaar defeat annihilius they are able to stop annhilius for now. blastaar betrays them and keeps them thier they have to escape they defeat him to so their is no current ruler in the negative zone. With the help of pegasus they create a prison in the negative zone. post credit scene is annihilus translating to "This will not be the end of my annihilation"
