In his castle, seated on his throne in Latveria, Victor von Doom, Doctor Doom, watches the news about the Fantastic Four, who, after saving the Annihilator from invasion, are recognized as heroes. He then notes how they touched the unknown, that it changed them, but that they weren't the first to do so, that Doom dealt with the same thing years ago in his search for answers and power.
