The FF would track the monster to Monster Isle and fly there in the Fantasticar. Once there, the team would find an entrance to Subterranea and follow the monster to an underground factory beneath Latveria. After a battle with a Doom Bot posing as Doom, they finally encounter Doom and Mole Man and are overwhelmed by Monsters and more Doom Bots. Now captured in Doom’s dungeon, he begins to use science and magic to torture the Four by pushing their powers to their limit. Reed is stretched, Sue is trapped in a forcefield slowly crushing her, Johnny is trapped in a machine that’s slowly sucking the oxygen from his flame, and Thing is being pummeled by super strong monsters. As he tortures them, Doom gloats to Reed.
