However his obsessive desire to defeat Soji Tendo causes him to defect from the organization, later walking a lone "path of darkness" as Kamen Rider KickHopper (仮面ライダーキックホッパー, Kamen Raidā Kikkuhoppā, Masked Rider KickHopper).
