Fear the Reaper...Some time after the events of Halloween: Resurrection, Michael Myers is being taken to a maximum security prison in Maine to hopefully lock him away for good. But, Michael escapes, kills the van driver, and wrecks the vehicle in a ditch. Afterwards, Michael heads for the nearest town, which just so happens to be Stoneybrook, CT. And with a fresh crop of babysitters to murder with Halloween just around the corner, Michael is basically in heaven. However, John Tate, the nephew Michael forgot about, is also hot on the Shape's trail, as is former Sheriff Leigh Brackett, with both seeking revenge on Michael for killing those close to them.
