What would the Fantastic Four and X-Men look like in the MCU if they were developed earlier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with The Avengers, Spider-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy? In an alternate MCU timeline, The Fantastic Four and X-Men were a part of the franchise since 2008, starting with their origin movies all the way through teaming up with The Avengers while not being involved in Civil War and only having some of the members survive Infinity War and having the rest of the team return in Endgame. The Fantastic Four were once agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before they got their powers from cosmic rays. The X-Men were hidden from the world due to Professor X using Cerebro to mind-wipe the world to hide mutants until the mutant population began to grow and Charles decided to open up his school to help mutants make the world a better place.
