"IDENTITY IS THE DEADLIEST WEAPON" Face/Off Part 2, a geopolitical identity thriller about the U.S. literally resurrecting Castor Troy to run a deniable criminal syndicate that secures America’s off‑book interests across the Albania–Greece–Turkey–Cyprus–Syria/Africa corridor, until he inevitably becomes too powerful and uncontrollable. Travolta’s Sean Archer is now FBI Director, Gosling is the International Division chief, DiCaprio is the Italian “routes” mastermind, and Cage’s Troy is the reanimated kingpin, officially dead and secretly indispensable. The story engine is a second‑generation face‑swap operation: Gosling takes DiCaprio’s identity to penetrate Troy’s network while Archer discovers, too late, that his agency has recreated the nightmare he sacrificed his life to end. Directed by: Christopher Nolan
