Hannah Rose Kurczeski is originally from Pennsylvania. She is a student at Yale University (Class of 2026), studying theater and performance as well as creative writing. Hannah has always loved performing from a very young age. She first stepped onto a stage at age 4, performing ballet, tap, and jazz numbers with her dance company. When she was 7, she caught the acting bug when she first auditioned for and landed the role of the Coroner in a local production of "The Wizard of Oz." Since then, she has continued to perform in various stage and screen productions, some of her favorite roles being Jane Banks in "Mary Poppins" and Helen Keller in "The Miracle Worker." She also performed with the Muhlenberg College Theatre Company as Joan in "Street Scene" and was part of the Children's Ensemble in "Evita" with the prestigious Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, where she received her Equity Membership Candidate card. She has received training in theater, television, and film acting, as well as improvisation, and regularly attends voice classes and acting workshops to hone her skills. She has landed several roles in both independent and mainstream films, including the role of 'Young Marika' in the Emmy Award-winning documentary, Remember Us: The Hungarian Hidden Children (2020).
