Miyu was born in Hyōgo Prefecture and has an older sister named Rina, who is a model, brand director and university student. The two participated in LDH The Girls Audition together. She was also a student at EXPG Osaka.
It is assumed that she joined EXPG Osaka in 2017 as her sister, Rina, was spotted in articles and images.
