Daniel Seavey is an American singer, songwriter and producer. He began his career as a fan favorite on the 14th season of American Idol, placing in the Top 9. In 2016, he became a founding member of the boy band Why Don't We. Why Don't We went on hiatus in 2022 due to legal battles with abusive management and officially disbanded in 2025. Seavey began releasing solo music during this period and released his debut studio album, Second Wind, in 2025.
