Fan Casting Sean Cosgrove in F. Gary Gray's Kane & Lynch

Sean Cosgrove is Kane’s former best friend and the film’s primary antagonist. A rogue mercenary who leads a covert team called “The Seven,” Cosgrove betrayed Kane during a mission in Venezuela, framing him for treason and destroying his life. He is cold, calculating, and deeply resentful, blaming Kane for a disastrous operation in South Korea that cost Cosgrove his military career. Unlike a cartoon villain, Cosgrove’s cruelty is personal—he murders Kane’s wife mid-sentence, taunts him about it, and takes pleasure in his suffering.
