A living hyperbole, an excess, whose humanity is overwhelmed by the immense misfortunes that befall him and to which he offers no response whatsoever. The mediocrity with which the character is portrayed, which over time becomes the emblem of the overwhelmed man, inevitably leads to a depiction of his vulgarities, understood as baser instincts: burping, profanity, negative attitudes (such as servility), which make him comical and tragic at the same time. Another characteristic is his submissiveness to everyone and his constant apologies. The common denominator of all the character's experiences is his total inertia in the face of fate, the impossibility of overturning adverse fortune.
