Overview:
New York City, present day.
The original Ghostbusters are long gone—disbanded, dismissed, and mostly forgotten. But when a surge of violent paranormal energy ripples through the city’s underground transit system, strange things begin to crawl out of the dark again… and humanity’s only hope rests on a new generation that no one saw coming.
Garrett (Brandon Flynn) — a sharp-witted, fearless adrenaline junkie in a wheelchair — becomes an unlikely leader when his campus is hit by a spectral outbreak. Alongside Eduardo Rivera (Joe Keery), a skeptical but brilliant grad student, and Roland Jackson (Ser’Darius Blain), a calm-minded engineer with a moral backbone, the team finds themselves recruited by a mysterious benefactor to revive the ghostbusting legacy.
When the trio discover that the paranormal chaos is connected to a centuries-old curse buried beneath Manhattan, they must build new proton gear, rethink everything the old Ghostbusters knew, and stop a vengeful spirit whose power is growing beyond the mortal world’s limits.
From the ashes of the past comes a new generation of busters — tougher, smarter, and more extreme.
