Derek Dietl is a minor antagonist of DreamWorks' Monsters vs. Aliens franchise. He is a weather reporter who was the ex-fiancé of Susan Murphy, whom he dumped once he saw her as Ginormica, thinking that her gigantic state would affect his popularity.
