In a near-future city, mysterious “Overfault Events” begin tearing reality apart, causing hostile anomalies and dangerous distortions to appear across urban districts. Ordinary emergency services are powerless against these incidents, forcing the creation of a specialized response unit known as Exceedraft Unit Sigma. The team consists of three elite operatives: Cammy, a precise and disciplined infiltration specialist; Min Min, a long-range combat expert who controls the battlefield from a distance; and Manon, a graceful but powerful judoka trained in non-lethal restraint and containment. At first, the trio struggles to work together due to their different fighting styles—Cammy favors direct precision, Min Min relies on flexible ranged tactics, and Manon emphasizes controlled engagement. However, as Overfault Events intensify, they gradually learn to combine their abilities into a coordinated rescue-combat system. During their first major mission, an Overfault surge engulfs a city district, spawning aggressive anomalies that react to fear and aggression. The team is forced into a high-risk rescue operation where civilian lives depend on perfect coordination. Cammy infiltrates the core of the distortion, Min Min provides suppressive fire across collapsing environments, and Manon subdues mutated threats while preventing further destruction. As they push deeper, they uncover evidence that the Overfault Events are not natural occurrences, but part of a larger engineered system hidden within the city infrastructure. The crisis shifts from containment to investigation, forcing the team to evolve into a unified force capable not only of fighting anomalies—but saving reality itself as it breaks down.
