As Canterlot High Prepares for the Upcoming Friendship Games, Sunset realizes the Humane 5 are able to use their powers without playing their instruments. As she is looking into this, Canterlot's Rivals, Crystal Prep are preparing for the games as well. The Human version of Twilight Sparkle, named Tyra Strom is forced to join the games by Principal King Sombra in order for her to go to College.
As this is going on The AutoBots and G.I. Joe who stayed behind on Earth are guarding the Space Bridge Portal unaware to the rest of the school. But when Tyra creates a device to detect the strange energy at the school, it takes away the Humane 6's powers, closes the statue portal and Shuts down the Space Bridge.
Now. Sunset need to figure things out with no magic, the Bots and Joes need to fix the Space Bridge, and Tyra needs to figure out if she wants to jepordize her future or understand this magic without unleashing something worse.
Mid-Credit Scene has Pony Twilight return to the Human World and running into Human Twilight.
Post-Credit Scene shows QuickKick doing the PSA.
