Convinced of her own superiority and immune to romantic entanglement herself, Emma meddles in the lives of those around her—particularly her timid friend Harriet Smith, whom she schemes to pair with the local vicar. Her well-intentioned interference spirals into comic chaos as misunderstandings multiply and hidden feelings surface. When the charming, mysterious Mr. Frank Churchill arrives in town, Emma's certainty wavers. Through a series of revelations and romantic missteps, Emma must confront her own blindness to love, her capacity for cruelty, and the possibility that true connection lies closer than she ever imagined. A witty exploration of self-deception, social ambition, and the transformative power of genuine affection.
