In 2075, sixteen years after the global Dryness—a climate-and-infrastructure catastrophe that emptied reservoirs, collapsed grids, and reduced civilization to fortified city-states—an emergency energy program accidentally activates ancient subterranean conduits beneath Stonehenge. The pulse reawakens the Emerald Order, ten-to-fifteen-foot spectral knights once bound to Merlin’s hidden war against forces beneath the Earth. But the signal also revives their ancient enemies: dragon kings, colossal beast armies, ghostly warlords, and a dead empire that believes the fractured human world is finally ready for conquest. A young engineer from a rebuilt city must join the resurrected knights to find Merlin before the world’s remaining energy network becomes the weapon that summons an age of mythic extinction.
