Marion Keisker, the assistant of Sun Records owner Sam Phillips, wrote "Good ballad singer. Hold. Impressed by Presley's singing, Phillips joins Presley with bassist Bill Black, and guitarist Scotty Moore, forming the Blue Moon Boys.
