In this interview Elizabeth Olsen addresses all the rumours of her and her older sisters twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen playing Pebbles Flintstone in the 1994 live action movie adaptation of The Flintstones. She explains that her sisters did in fact audition for the role but they couldn't play her because they were 8 years old at the time and they were too old to play a 4 year old, and that later when her sisters didn't get the role that her agent contacted her and she also auditioned for it because she looks like her two older sisters and that it would be believeable for their fans, but that she was too busy at the time co starring in her older sisters movies and finishing kindergarten. So in the end the role went to other twin actresses that were lookalikes of her sisters. Actresses Melanie and Elaine Silver. And that even though she didn't get to play Pebbles that she wishes good luck to Finley Rose Slater the new young actress who plays Pebbles in the new live action Flintstones movie.
