Personification of Death or Grim Reaper. Presented as Elisabeth’s dark and seductive lover. Death is a dashing, handsome, sensual young man and have androgynous looks, also cunning & manipulative. By appearance who is fascinated by Elisabeth just as she is by him, He always try to comfort & seduce her, but she never returned his affection. He admits that he loves her, but initially rejects her advances, taking instead her infant daughter and befriending her young son, Rudolf. Rebuffed in turn by Elisabeth, Death incites Rudolf to oppose his father, manipulate him, which ultimately leads to the former’s suicide.
