Dynasty is a Primetime soap opera about the trials and tribulations of two wealthy American families the Carringtons and the Colbys. This is my version of the show if showrunner Sallie Patrick hadn't left the series at the end of season two. Some changes to the show include: Bring Steven back to confront and expose Adam for all the terrible things he has done.Make Adam a soap opera villain in the mold of Kristen Dimera from Days of Our Lives: Responsible for doing terrible, nasty things to people but has a vulnerability and backstory that makes the audience empathize them. Give Monica more storylines and character development. Introduce Jackie, Dominique's daughter from the OG series and give her OG series Monica's backstory of being a hard working, ambitious lawyer. Introduce Dex as Blake's lifelong rival and new head of Carrington Atlantic's board of directors. Introduce Amanda in season finale as a popular film and TV actress who doesn't know she's a Carrington yet. She will be a major rival/frenemy for Fallon in the seasons to come. Bring back Celia/Cristal from season one with storyline about her being held captive in the coroner's house the whole time everyone thought she was dead. Introduce Jason Colby and Sable Colby as California power couple in season finale. He is the head of a successful streaming service similar to Netflix as well as being Jeff and Monica's uncle. She is Jason's wife, a hotel magnate and bitterly estranged sister of Alexis.
