Fan Casting Bickety in Dungeons & Dragons: The Hand of Chaos

A scar-faced human swordsman, Bickety is the paranoid, aggressive leader of the mercenary band that Hightower and Karroway have joined for the Temple of Orcus expedition. He barks orders at the hulking Skeezer, slams Trickfoot against walls, and radiates the desperate avarice of a man who has done terrible things for treasure and will not be cheated at the final hour. When the red gem is pried free, his betrayal is instant: he orders Hightower killed and demands the treasure for himself. His reward for a life of treachery is to be grabbed by the living stone idol and "SQUEEZED, juicing him like an orange," a gruesome, satisfying end for a blunt instrument of greed who thought he was the alpha of the pack.
