Greg Yaitanes is an American television and film director. He is also an angel investor in Twitter. Emmy Award-winning television and film director Greg Yaitanes is one of the most recognized names in Hollywood, directing and producing top shows including Damages, Lost, Prison Break, Heroes and Grey's Anatomy. His Emmy Award came in 2008 as result of his work on House, M.D., the most popular show worldwide. Yaitanes grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where he directed his very first film, Salad Bar: The Movie. At the age of 18, Yaitanes moved to Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California Film School. By 23, he landed his first directorial job. Yaitanes was so persistent that he once waited seven hours for a 10-minute meeting with action film producer Joel Silver. After screening Yaitanes' work, Silver signed him for his second feature. Since then, Yaitanes' artistic talent and dedication have led him to a successful career in the director's chair in television. Though he is well known in Hollywood for his work on several top-watched shows, his technological entrepreneurship has also made him a respected name in Silicon Valley. His investments in start-up companies such as Twitter have earned him a reputation for foresight in technology. Yaitanes is one of Twitter's original investors and a frequent guest speaker at the company. Active in the Greek community, Yaitanes helped produce Greek America Foundation's Gabby Awards and directed the opening of the 2011 Gabby Awards on Ellis Island. After the events of Dune, Paul Muad'Dib, now Padishah Emperor of the Known Universe, with the Princess Irulan, daughter of the deposed Padishah Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV at his side, and his armies, the Fremen have since launched several bloody jihads to solidify his position. By that time, Alia, Paul's sister, possessed by the spirit of the Evil Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, ruled Arrakis as Imperial Regent, while Leto II and Ghanima, now grown up, have to deal with another conspiracy, dealing with Alia's paranoia, along with an individual known as "The Preacher" whom has surfaced in the capital, speaking against the decline of the religion of Muad'Dib into fear and ritualism; but Alia's resistance to having him killed shares their popular belief and assumption of Paul's return which includes Jessica's resumed allegiance to the Bene Gesserit against her and House Atreides.
