An annual beauty pageant in small-town Minnesota turns ridiculously competitive and ultimately chaotic in this biting comedy. Anthony Atkins, the son of hard-drinking dad Andrew, and Bobby Leeman, who is motivated by his former beauty-queen father, Glenn, are among the top contenders in the event. As Anthony, Bobby, and other local boys prepare for the big day, bizarre incidents occur, leading up to an ending with a bang.
