Story Kitchen is a dynamic media company passionate about universe building and franchise architecture; specializing in the adaptation of videogames and other ‘non-traditional’ IP into Film/TV. Launched in 2022 by SONIC THE HEDGEHOG producer & dj2 Entertainment Founder, Dmitri M. Johnson, and former APA Agent/Partner, Mike Goldberg, with their veteran Production and Development Executives, Timothy I. Stevenson and Dan Jevons. Johnson has been at the forefront of successfully connecting videogame IP to Hollywood long before it became mainstream. His visionary leadership has led to groundbreaking successes like the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG franchise after securing the film adaptation rights over a decade ago. He continues as the driving force behind the TOMB RAIDER Franchise, including the animated series premiering on Netflix in late 2024, the upcoming STREETS OF RAGE adaptation setup at Lionsgate, as well as 2021 'Game of the Year', IT TAKES TWO, and the beloved classic, TOEJAM & EARL, both at Amazon Studios, plus many others that have yet to be announced. Complementing Johnson's trailblazing spirit is Mike Goldberg, considered the industry's foremost agent for non-traditional IP with a remarkable track record of closing 80+ Game-to-Film/TV deals. As an agent, Goldberg represented legacy videogame publishers Sega and Atari in addition to the NY Yankees, Macmillan Publishers, Andrews McMeel Publishing, and the “Master of Horror” John Carpenter. His revolutionary deals included the now iconic JOHN WICK Lionsgate franchise as well as Universal Pictures’ ‘franchise-starters’ VIOLENT NIGHT, starring David Harbour, and NOBODY, starring Bob Odenkirk. Driving the creative engine of Story Kitchen are Dan Jevons, 'Head of Development', and Timothy I. Stevenson, 'Head of Production'. With over 25 years of experience in the games industry, Jevons has worked as a critic, journalist, game designer, and creative officer at companies such as EMAP, Metropolis, and Conspiracy Games. Stevenson brings nearly two decades of expertise in physical production, leading the charge for industry giants such as Marvel, SONY, Microsoft, and AT&T. Driven by curiosity, Stevenson has been at the forefront in pioneering innovative solutions in filmmaking, pilot testing emerging technologies like volume technology, VR, and binaural sound.

In the colorful and chaotic world of the Glade of Dreams, balance is everything and that balance is about to be shattered. When the ancient villain Mr. Dark escapes from his prison in the Shadow Realm and begins draining the very imagination that holds the world together, entire lands collapse into nightmares. Forests lose their color, music fades into silence, and the dreams of every creature slowly turn into fear. With the Council of the Polokus powerless and divided, an unlikely hero rises: Rayman, a fearless but reckless wanderer with no arms, no legs, and more heart than sense. Alongside the eternally anxious but loyal Globox, the wise and radiant fairy Betilla, and the endlessly sarcastic guide Murfy, Rayman is thrust into a journey across broken kingdoms, living paintings, underwater ruins, and impossible floating cities. As Mr. Dark’s shadow spreads, Rayman discovers that the true source of his power isn’t strength or magic, but the ability to inspire hope in a world that has forgotten how to dream. The fate of imagination itself now rests in the hands of a hero who wasn’t supposed to exist.
