Kaitlyn Rochelle Dever (/ˈdiːvər/; born December 21, 1996) is an American actress. She became known for her roles in series such as Justified (2011–2015), Last Man Standing (2011–2021), Unbelievable (2019), and Dopesick (2021). She earned nominations for Unbelievable and Dopesick and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the latter. Dever has had supporting roles in the films Short Term 12 (2013), Detroit (2017), Beautiful Boy (2018), Dear Evan Hansen (2021), and Ticket to Paradise (2022). Her leading film roles include Booksmart (2019), Rosaline (2022), and No One Will Save You (2023). In the year 2057, the Earth is a sh!tty place to live. The environment is on the verge of destruction, government is corrupt, and the only place that humanity can find solace is in the technology of Haven, a device that extends your dreams into an almost endless fantasy. Haven has been downloaded by billion of customers all over the world. One of these customers is Peter Eckard, an exhausted and ragged police officer with a dark secret. Once he buys the Haven, he is initially happy with what joy it brings to his murky life. But when a mysterious girl from his past begins appearing in his dreams, Peter is going to have to face his demons both literally and figuratively, as well as finally come to terms with his dark mistakes.
