Bam Adebayo is an American pro basketball player who currently plays center and power forward for the Miami Heat. He was born Edrice Femi Adebayo on July 18, 1997, in Newark, New Jersey. His nickname “Bam Bam” is a reference to The Flintstones character Bamm-Bamm Rubble. He stood 6-6 by the age of 13, turning him into a dominant basketball player at a young age. Coming out of high school, Adebayo was a five-star recruit and one of the best players in the country. He was named Mr. Basketball in the state of North Carolina and was McDonald’s All-American. Adebayo played one year of college basketball at Kentucky before entering the NBA Draft. He was selected 14th overall in 2017 by the Miami Heat. He was a complementary player during his rookie season but took on a more prominent role in his second pro season, playing in all 82 games, including 28 starts. During his third pro season, Adebayo made a significant leap forward after becoming a permanent part of the Heat starting lineup. In 65 games before the 2019-20 season was suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic, Adebayo was averaging 16.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. He was also selected to the All-Star Team for the first time in 2020.

This saga aired in Japan in 1989. It comprises part of the US season 1. It was later included in the Funimation Season One Remastered Box Set, which also includes the Vegeta Saga and first 4 episodes of the Namek Saga, and on the Funimation Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box Volume 1 Set. and Vegeta Saga is the second part of the Saiyan Saga which follows the Raditz Saga, the first part of the Saiyan Saga, and precedes the Namek Saga. This saga aired in Japan in 1989 and 1990. It comprises part of US season 1. It was later included in the Funimation Season One Remastered Box Set, which also includes the Raditz Saga and the first 4 episodes of the Namek Saga and on the Funimation Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box Volume 1 Set. Its main plot concerns the subsequent training and preparation for the arrival of the two Saiyans, Nappa and Vegeta, who are looking for the Dragon Balls to gain eternal life which culminates in a series of life and death battles involving the Dragon Team.
