When Chi-Chi grows up, she enters the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament because she is angry that Goku forgot her promise to her. When Goku finally remembers, he keeps his promise and the two end up getting married afterward, and have two sons. With Gohan, she becomes very strict and overprotective, but relents with him due to the constant danger threatening the planet. With Goten, she trains him herself, an unusual act for Chi-Chi, most likely due to Goku being in Otherworld. Chi-Chi is also known for her fiery temper.
