Joachim "Blacky" Fuchsberger was a German actor and television host, best known to a wide German-speaking audience as one of the recurring actors in various Edgar Wallace movies (often a Detective Inspector with Scotland Yard).
Dr. No re-imagined as pulpy / problematic (affectionate) krimi, a British-German coproduction. Takes cues from stuff like Harry Allan Towers' beautifully dire Sax Rohmer adaptations, 1950s-1960s German krimifilm, and film noir.
