Martin Hermann Böttcher was a German film composer, conductor and arranger. He wrote the music for hundreds of films; especially well known are his scores for the Karl May adaptations of the 1960s.
Dr. No re-imagined as pulpy / problematic (affectionate) krimi, a British-German coproduction. Takes cues from stuff like Harry Allan Towers' beautifully dire Sax Rohmer adaptations, 1950s-1960s German krimifilm, and film noir.
