Canned Noise (吸きゆう音おん機き Kyūonki) is one of Doraemon's gadgets. Canned Noise is capable of muting any sounds or noises the user desires. This gadget can be used to mute disruptive sounds such as construction or loud singing from next-door neighbors as well as to avoid scolding. Canned Noise silences whatever the user wants the sound to be muted. To activate, the user must aim the gramophone horn at the source of sound they want to silence. Once done, the sound will be sucked through the horn into a can. The user can mute all of the background noises or people speaking if they wish. When the can is taken out, however, all the sounds that have been sucked in are released. If the user accidentally 'drinks' the can, all sounds sucked inside the can are released through the user's mouth even if they try to cover or close their mouth.
