A Christmas Carol (promoted as Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol) is a 1978 American animated musical fantasy comedy-drama film produced by DreamWorks Pictures and Don Bluth Animation Studios, and distributed by Universal Pictures, directed by Chuck Jones and Don Bluth.
The film is an adaptation of Charles Dickens' 1843 classic novel of the same name, retold with anthropomorphic animals.
